Is shopping at mylaporeganapathys.com safe? How secure are my online payments?
At Mylapore Ganapathys every transaction done is safe and secure. We use Razorpay payment gateway to process your payment and we never store sensitive information like CVV numbers, PINs etc.
What payment method do you accept?
We accept payment from all domestic major debit/credit cards, Netbanking, Wallet & UPI. Cash on Delivery (COD) is currently not accepted. International cards are not valid.
I am facing an error during checkout and it is not taking me to the payment page?
Make sure your billing information such as Address, email and mobile are entered correctly.
What happens in case of payment deducted but order not successful?
This generally happens due to an issue from your bank’s end where the funds are held up. In case of any payment failures and charges incurred, a refund will be automatically routed through the payment gateway and will be credited to the source account in 3-4 business days.
Do you ship across India?
Yes, we ship our products across India and to know your area is serviceable or not, enter your Pincode on the homepage near the header section. We currently do not ship outside India (International).

No, we currently do not ship outside India. No International deliveries are available.
Is there a delivery/shipping charges?
Yes, we collect nominal shipping charges for each delivery. Since the products we sell online are the same price as in the physical store, the delivery charges are collected to cover the cost involved for shipments. CLICK HERE to know more about delivery rates.
What is the time taken for delivery?
You can find the estimated delivery date (EDD) on a notification message box once you enter your Pincode on the homepage near the header section.
I am in Chennai, can I get Same day delivery?
Same day delivery is currently not possible. We will try to do next day delivery or maximum 2 days delivery time within Chennai.
Will I get the shipping details after placing the order and can I track the shipping status?
Yes, an alert message will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS with the shipping details and you can track the status of the shipment by clicking the URL in the SMS.
How safe is my parcel with Mylapore Ganapathys?
Your orders are neatly packed and safely shipped with all prior safety precautions taken.
Can I instruct for a specific delivery date/time slot?
Currently, we do not have an option to deliver as per the instructions given. The courier company will deliver as per their regular timings.
Can I order for delivery to a different address?
Yes, you can place an order and ship it to a different address by selecting the “DELIVER TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS”. You can see this option once you click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.
Can I track the status of my order?
Yes, you can track your order status under My Account -> My Order -> Order number -> Status.
Will I get updates on my order?
Yes, from the time your order is placed and till it reaches your hand, regular updates are given via SMS to your registered mobile number and email for you to know about the order status.
Can I cancel my order online?
No, there is no option for you to cancel the order online. But if you want to still cancel the order at any point until it is out for delivery, you can reach us on Chat or email and we will cancel the order and have the amount refunded to your source of payment within 7 business days.
What happens if my order is lost? Will I get a refund?
If your order is lost during transit, we will refund the amount to your source of payment within 3-4 business days.
Can I place an order for someone else?
Yes, you can place an order for someone else by selecting the “DELIVER TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS”. You can see this option once you click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.
I am unable to add a specific product to my order?
Products are Pincode wise mapped. So according to your Pincode, your products are shown. Most of the items are available for you to add it to your cart. However, products which are not advisable to transit more than a stipulated time are removed. Example: Desi Butter orders are limited to only specific pin-codes in Chennai as Butter will melt in few hours and not shipped to long distances.
Why are the items in my shopping cart no longer available?
Items will continue to appear in your cart until you have removed them or checked out. Make sure you are logged in to your account. You can check this by clicking the hamburger menu shown on the top left side and your name will appear on the top of the hamburger menu. If your name is not shown, this means you have to log in using My Account in the menu.
My ordered item arrived broken or the parcel has tampered?
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused, write to us at [email protected] or chat here and please specify the item(s) damaged and we will resend the damaged item or resend the parcel if it has tampered.
I have not received my order? Whom do I contact?
Go to your order status under My Account -> My Order -> Order number -> Status and here you can check the status of the order. If you still have any queries, write to us at [email protected] or chat with our agent.
Have you received an incomplete order?

I want to place a bulk order?
Yes, we undertake bulk orders, write to us at [email protected] or chat here and with your contact details. We will be in touch with you to take this forward.
I want to place an order via Phone or Chat?
We do not take orders on Phone or Chat. You can only place your order only online.
What are the ways to order your products online?
For better comfortably you can use your mobile to place your order online. Our website is built on Progressive Web App and this means when you first login to our website mylaporeganapathys.com using your mobile, you have an option to Add our website to Home screen and when this is done, our website gets downloaded on mobile and will turn out to be like an app which you can see on your mobile screen. Henceforth for your future orders you can directly click our App from your mobile instead of using a browser and typing our website url. Desktop version is also available to place your orders online.
Do I need to register or create an account before making a purchase?
Yes, it is mandatory. You need to create an account before making a purchase.
I am not able to edit the mobile number or email of my billing account?
You cannot edit the mobile or email of your billing account as these details are captured as mandatory details and mapped to your account. However, if you want to add a different mobile number to show it for shipping purpose, you can edit the same under “DELIVER TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS” which will become your Shipping address.
I am unable to log into my account?
For Login, via OTP if you are not getting OTP, try clicking RSEND VERIFICATION CODE. For Login with Email, if you are unable to login, try LOST YOUR PASSWORD and you will get a confirmation email with a link to reset it. In case if you are still facing problems, contact us via CHAT / EMAIL.

How do I change my address?
Login to My Account -> ADDRESSES and you can edit the Billing and Shipping address. However, you cannot edit the mobile or email of your Billing account as these details are captured as mandatory details and mapped to your account.
I am not satisfied with the quality of a product(s), what do I do?
From preparing, processing to delivery, we take care of every stage of the process to make sure there are no quality lapses whatsoever. Is there GST for the products I buy and will I get an invoice?
All our prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Service Tax (GST) and you will receive an invoice for the order.
I want to order a product but it shows SOLD OUT. When will I be able to order it?
We will try to make all our products open for sale, but due to certain reasons, it might go out of stock. We will try to refill the product back to the shelf as soon as possible. I want to buy Wholesale and have a business proposal?
No, due to the high demand for products required for our retail customers, we do not do wholesale business.
