The main ingredient in the preparation of Ompudi Vadam is the Rice Batter and Water. The accurate mixture of these both and the additional ingredients make the snack perfect to eat. The mixture is well ground into a fine paste. After adding items like Salt, these are made into Vadams and let out to dry under the sun. There are also other varieties of Ompodi Vadam itself, where additions like Chilli are made, to bring out a spicier version, unlike this plain one.
